“Stay far from timid
Only make moves when your heart's in it
And live the phrase, 'Sky's The Limit'”— The Notorious B.I.G.
On her own, Nancy built a successful financial planning practice focused on women experiencing life transitions due to divorce or being widowed, and on couples planning their transition to retirement. Wanting to provide her clients with more proactive tax management and asset-liability matching investment strategies to better secure their retirement income, she merged her practice with Sensible Money.
Nancy previously served on the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association of South Carolina and is currently an at-large member of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC). She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI).
Outside of work, Nancy is an active volunteer within her community, and she especially enjoys opportunities to mentor other women around financial literacy. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, reading or listening to podcasts on the beach, and taking long bike rides. They always look forward to their next visit with their son, daughter-in-law, and little grandson, who live in the Washington, DC area.
