“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”— Howard Thurman
Her career began as a financial planner in 1995. Several years later, she began working with people near retirement and realized that a different type of planning was needed to align one’s finances for a transition out of the workforce. She founded Sensible Money in 2011 with that goal in mind.
Sensible Money financial planners use a planning process designed around the principles and concepts learned in the Retirement Management Advisor® coursework. Dana expands on this content in her books, courses, videos, and podcasts to help retirees nationwide navigate retirement with greater confidence and clarity.
Through her firm, books, and decades of client work, she continues to elevate the profession of retirement income planning and empower people to navigate the transition to retirement and enjoy the many years that follow.
